Environmental Training to employees of an industrial plant at La Plata

Last Friday, November 12 and 19, the first internal Training Program in Environmental Education was carried out for the employees of Lamcef-Veolia S.A. at its plant located in La Plata. Lamcef is a pathogenic waste treatment company, which belongs to Veolia, a company that is at the forefront of environmental issues such as waste management, green energy and water management. Both Veolia and Lamcef here in Argentina keep their staff constantly trained in environmental care.

The Foundation prepared, designed and coordinated this training according to what was requested by the executives of the company based in the city. It was developed in 2 talks lasting approximately one hour. This training was attended by the plant operators and managers of Lamcef-Veolia S.A. on site and, in addition, with employees and managers of the central offices in La Plata, and operators of the Río Gallegos plant (Santa Cruz) through a virtual link.

Both the company staff and managers were comfortable and very satisfied with the level of training, and committed to continue striving for the ecological transformation that the company proposes as its primary motto. To obtain a follow-up of this, ICTs (Information and Communication Technology) will be used to receive concerns and comments for the practice of the knowledge acquired.

At Fundación Biosfera we have a highly trained team to provide this type of training to company personnel, whether environmental or not, and that can allow their employees to acquire knowledge in environmental education not only for their work development, but to transmit it in your home and in your circle of relationships.
