1st Encounter of Environmental Officials

1st Encuentro de Responsables Ambientales de Provincias, Estados y Regiones de América Latina y el Caribe (“Meeting of National, Provincial and Regional Environmental Officials of Latin America and the Caribbean”)
This encounter took place on October 9, 2014, in the framework of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 20) in Lima, Peru. The objective was to promote experience sharing between Environmental Officers and Environmental Executives from Provinces and States of Latin America and the Caribbean. This way, it is possible to create partnerships for climate change limitation and adaptation projects in the region.
The Fundación Biosfera organized this event with the Province of Buenos Aires, the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima and the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
